The brief

MARMOREA wanted a showroom where clients see marble, parquet and design furniture in real settings — rooms that feel like a home, not a shop floor.

The challenge

Turning a bare 400 m² commercial shell on two floors into a finished showroom in six months — new floors, walls, lighting, a staircase and a fully fitted second floor.

What we delivered

A complete fit-out: seamless floors, hand-finished plaster walls, integrated lighting and marquetry parquet upstairs — every space ready to welcome clients.

Before & after

From bare shell to finished showroom.

The same spaces, at the start of works and on opening day.

BeforeBefore: ground floor under the second floor with old checkered tiles and bare walls
AfterAfter: furniture showroom under the black steel and glass second floor
Ground floor → furniture showroom
BeforeBefore: rear of the ground floor stripped back during works, with skylights and exposed ceiling
AfterAfter: the same space as a material library with marble slabs, parquet panels and track lighting
Rear of the ground floor → material library
BeforeBefore: steel staircase against a black wall over a worn red floor
AfterAfter: open-tread wooden staircase against a stone-effect plaster wall on a seamless light floor
The staircase
BeforeBefore: empty second floor with a worn red floor and plain railing
AfterAfter: the second floor as a walk-in dressing room with walnut marquetry parquet
Second floor → dressing room

The showroom floor

Warm plastered walls and a seamless light floor create a calm backdrop, so every slab of marble and every piece of furniture reads as part of a real home.

02

Two levels, one volume

The second floor is framed in black steel and glass, so both levels read as one space — light passes through, and the showroom below stays open.

03

Dressing room & private office

The second floor becomes a private apartment: a walk-in dressing room, a corridor with a hand-painted mural and an office — each floored in a different walnut or oak pattern, under integrated linear lighting.

The material library

Full-height marble slabs and parquet panels displayed under skylights and track lighting, so clients judge every vein and grain in true light.

Kitchen & bathroom

Working plumbing and electrics behind a display kitchen and a fully finished powder room — textured plaster walls, concealed fittings, nothing left to the imagination.
